N+1 was incorporated in late 2000 because its partners believed in the need and feasibility of an independent project on the Spanish capital market. Although N+1 aims to secure an adequate return each year, its partners’ main objective is to secure long-term growth in order to become the Spanish benchmark in the investment banking services and specialist high value added asset management market.

N+1 was born with three foundational objectives – to have a solid future project, to generate a profit for those who undertake it out and to create an excellent working environment. With the passage of time, a fourth objective has been added: to have the best talent and human capital possible.

N+1 is a partnership. In other words, a company whose partners work and are ultimately responsible for the company and are devoted exclusively to it. In our opinion, a partnership is the most suitable corporate organisation model to ensure long–term continuity and customer service quality.

It was precisely this conviction that led us to call our company N+1. To us N+1 means association and collaboration between the partners and people who work for us and our customers and institutional partners. But N+1 also means growth potential. Our aim is to grow in all those areas where we have tried and tested management and completion experience and where there is a market opportunity.
