The companies, based in Luxembourg and Frankfurt (Germany) are run by a team of top class professionals which between them possess the experience and know-how to manage/advise portfolios of rental properties, with specialists in acquisitions, structured financing, asset and property management, analysis and, lastly, investment vehicle structuring and management.

The team currently manages and/or advises three investment vehicles: Alpina Real Estate Fund, SCA SICAV-FIS, Alpina Real Estate Company SCA and Estrella Portfolio, to give a combined investment capacity of €330mn. The investment philosophy of each of these vehicles is to focus on the acquisition of properties for third party lease (primarily office space) in the best locations in the key markets in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, with a particular emphasis on the seven main office rental markets in Germany.

The team has managed to close 11 investments for an aggregate sum of €300mn, raising debt financing to the tune of €185mn and structuring all the acquisitions with specialist German financial institutions on unbeatable terms in relation to leverage and spreads
